Just to say we have completed our first month running Sage 50 Accounts. Robert our accountant has been in to do our first set of monthly P & L and Balance sheet accounts and has commented that the system is considerably better than the one we operated before and if we can continue to operate as we have done for the first month, he will feel obliged to reduce his fee as it will be so much quicker than before to complete his work.
I have been able to adapt one of the letters in the system for Philip so that he can email all of his French customers in French, about a new product we have produced for the rugby world cup and he is delighted.
We have sorted out several new reports to provide the operating information we are used to having for production purposes.
Some areas are still a bit scary & a bit of a mystery but by and large I think we are getting to the point where we can start to explore the advantages of the new features we never had before on our old system.
The multi currency facilities available for generating sales orders and receiving bank payments are already a huge time saving feature.
So… thanks very much for your excellent support before and at the time of installation.
